Retreat includes 3 nights of open-air (mosquito netted) accommodation at the incredible Om Waters, Floating Homestay & Retreat Center ( just 50kms north of Chiang Mai, ALL vegetarian meals, multiple physical & meditation training sessions per day, transportation & boat from/to Chiang Mai.

About Us:

Nicolai Engelbrecht
After being introduced to meditation at young age, I was bound to move in the direction of a spiritual life. At the age of 21, I began a serious study of yoga (if you want to watch the award winning documentary of the young version of me, here is a link

Doing my 30 days of silence under the guidance of a yogic master, I found the core of what yoga is for me, and have since then tried to spread it to everyone I know.

I have thought more than 1000 people all over the world, including prisoners and gang members. After studying and teaching yoga for 4 years, I decided to move to China to find a real master of Qi Gong and Tai Chi and after 1 year of searching, I finally found “the one” who could teach the real Qi Gong.

It is no secret that I am known for my raw personality and I love to push people out of their comfort zones. I love to use eastern philosophy in a way that can be implemented in our daily life, to overcome depression addiction, anger and loneliness.


Michael Hetherington (BHlthSci)
Michael is an author of over 15 books, an acupuncturist, yoga instructor, martial artist and a teacher of traditional Oriental medicine. He is passionate about self-health care, Oriental philosophy, self-directed education and embracing the human potential. He has been practising yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2009. His yoga style is a fun fusion of Vinyasa, Hatha, Oki-Do, Qi Gong and yin yoga.

Michael is known for his light-hearted and calming presence which he manages to bring to any situation.
